Whale watching in Bremer Bay occurs during the months of July through to October.The main whale watching sites are Pt Anne, where there is a purpose built platform and from Bremer Beach which is located next to the town site.

The two main whales visiting the shores are the Southern Right Whale and the Humpback Whale. The Southern Right Whale tend to stay in the Bays around Bremer to deliver their calves safely. The Humpback is seen on its migratory path past the Bremer coast.
