BREMER BAY OFFSHORE ANGLING CLASSIC 2011

RULES & CONDITIONS
  • ALL SKIPPERS MUST BE A MEMBER OF VMRS
  • Registration and briefing to be held at the Bremer Bay Sports Club on Friday 4TH MARCH between 6pm to
    8pm
  • Late registrations to contact Mick Batchelor or Mal Poett on the numbers listed below
  • Registrations to be $25 per person
  • Start time is 6.00 am at the Fisheries Beach Marina
  • Finish time is 3.00pm at Fisheries Beach Marina
  • ALL boats must report to Fisheries Beach Marina for departures and returns
  • No boats to enter water until authorised by officials
  • Weigh-in commences at Bremer Bay Sports Club Carpark at 4.00pm on each day-closing 5.00pm
  • All crew must be registered-any change of crew must notify weighmaster
  • All late competitors will be disqualified
  • Highest gross points gained will be the overall winner of the competition
  • Points for the heaviest following species over the whole competition:
  • Red Snapper, Queen Snapper, Pink Snapper, Breaksea Cod, Dhufish, Whole Squid, King George Whiting,
    Flathead, Harlequin, Sweep, Herring, Skipjack, Groper, Sand Whiting, Snook/Pike
  • Points per fish of nominated species: heaviest = 10, 2nd = 8, 3rd = 6, 4th = 4, 5th = 2 Plus 20 points per
    nominated species
  • Prize for 15 species
  • Only one of each competition fish to be weighed per boat per day
  • All competition fish are to be gutted to umpires satisfaction
  • Any day could be cancelled by the officials due to weather conditions or any reason for the well being and
    safety of all persons. Official Committee decision will be final
  • Any dispute must be reported to the weighmaster in writing and no later than 15 minutes after the completion
    of the weigh-in. The Disputes Committee will adjudicate and their decision will be final
  • No professional fishing boats are allowed to participate.
  • All boats are to conform to Marine & Harbours regulations and may be checked by a member of the
    Committee. Any boat not complying with these standards may be disqualified
  • Persons with any undersized fish will be automatically disqualified
  • Please observe BAG & SIZE LIMITS as per Fisheries regulations provided
  • Any queries on rules bring up at the briefing
  • Skipper must sign in on leaving Marina and on return both days or will be disqualified for that day
  • Any persons taking part in the Classic does so at their own risk. The organisers will not be
    responsible for any loss, damage or injury sustained by any competitor to their own person or
    effects
